Many new doors are open to us. I think we need no longer to be so desperate. The publishing of eBooks has opened up a whole new world for authors and I am one of them. I just published five new books on iBooks and I have two more that will soon be released. 

I for one am content to go through this new door. I feel that eBook publishing and Author Partner Programs will empower many new authors as it has empowered me. But, if an author takes this new road to publishing they should make sure they produce a high quality product.
