"Twenty-seven percent of the kids in this survey have their own computer, 25 percent own an iPhone, 12 percent own an iPod Touch, 7 percent own an e-reader and 4 percent own an iPhone."
Should the 25% be an iPod? Can this be corrected? I'm interested in the data but want to make sure I'm getting the real deal.

This is a great article, and its subject is the focus of our publishing efforts. Our first title for teens exploded on iTunes over the holidays, so we are confident that teens are looking for books to read on their iPads and iPhones, but it's not a habitual behavior yet. What's brilliant about the iBook interface is that the rating/review system is built into the experience, so readers are prompted to share opinions while they are still reacting to the end of the book. This is an ideal feature for teens and for the viral spread of well-favored books; pre-teen and teen readers always want to be asked for their opinion and are happy to share it. One obvious roadblock to the adoption rate of e-readers among teen audiences is that credit cards (or parents' cards) are required to download. Another very important element in this examination is that many teens are spending time blogging on their own, and on sites like Wattpad, where they are reading, reviewing and producing their own content. Creative expression by teens in digital channels is just as important to them as purchasing and experiencing content (video games, music, and... e-books).
