I own thousands of DVD’s and CD’s, (and LP’s). I may have gone broke buying them, but I have them forever. My memory sucks so it’s like watching them new all over again.

For a guy like me, the problem is the lack of retail stores selling the actual discs. Then they’re $20.00 or more if you do find them. The illegals sell for $4.00-$5.00. Competitive pricing can help solve that hardware side of piracy.

Your article concerns downloading. I’m too old and square to know anything about that! The only remedy I can come up with is having the punishment grossly out of proportion, like a year’s worth of community service. Do you really think it’s worth seeing Rocky vs. Predator if you had to clean the side of a freeway for a year?
