As a college student in the late ’60s, he already was a stringer for The New York Times who authored an iconic aerial photo of Woodstock from a helicopter. Thanks to his asking me to tag along, I got to meet John and Yoko when she opened her “This Is Not Here” conceptual art exhibit at the Everson Museum in Syracuse. Larry’s a winner all the way. Best of luck to him and all under his charge on a new era.
