Larry was well on his way to where he is today as an undergraduate at Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications, where he was my classmate (and my boss when he asked me to become editor of the independent campus newspaper he published). As a college student in the late '60s, he already was a stringer for The New York Times who authored an iconic aerial photo of Woodstock from a helicopter. Thanks to his asking me to tag along, I got to meet John and Yoko when she opened her "This Is Not Here" conceptual art exhibit at the Everson Museum in Syracuse. Larry's a winner all the way. Best of luck to him and all under his charge on a new era.
