I have a subscription to streaming Netflix, but they never have the movie I want. I always end up renting it from iTunes. iTunes’ quality is somewhat better, too.

No mention of Amazon? It’s hard to imagine their VOD service doesn’t deserve at least a mention in this list.

It would be more interesting if they put the revenue in amount instead of percentage.
So how much is Netflix revenue in numbers?

I wonder how the profit figures break down. Apple has an established business model that makes money. The fact that a competitor can force their way into the market at a loss is less of a concern, because they can’t keep that up forever.

This market is still anyone’s game to win, but I have to believe that those companies who are doing well in it in market share and turning a profit are the ones who are in the best position to dominate. Which is why Microsoft is still a serious threat as well even though their market share is small.
