If you read Shakespeare in high school or college, it was likely one of those Folger Shakespeare paperbacks with explanatory notes and definitions on the facing pages. Now Simon & Schuster is releasing those editions as ebooks for the first time.
The ebooks, which are $5.99 each, “preserve the look and feel of the editions that have delighted readers for decades,” Simon & Schuster says. Each ebook “will have the same pagination as the physical book, with hyperlinks allowing readers to move easily between text, commentary, and a host of illustrations from the Folger’s collections that bring Shakespeare’s plays and world to life.”

It is exciting to see all these important texts come out on electronic version.
