Great to see South African based companies such as Avusa and Paperight being mentioned internationally. Paperight is doing some great work in the industry and the team at www.Realmdigital.co.za are so thrilled to be working with them

Our sister company www.snapplify.com was also present and exhibited at Frankfurt this year as well as last year. Snapplify enables publishers to sell their content via Mobile Apps. More international publishers are embracing digital and mobile distribution solutions and we have seen this in terms of Digital Book Apps, Digital Newspaper App and Digital Magazine Apps.

Tech emerging out of Africa for publishers is huge!

My novel London's Falling shall be launched here in Australia at the Gold Coast Writers Association Meeting on Saturday October 20 at Fradgley Hall, situated above the Gold Coast Burleigh Heads Library from 2-4PM. On October 27th I shall be a participant at the Gold Coast Writers Festival at the Robina Community Centre located at 196 Robina Town Centre Drive Robina (across the street from the Robina town Centre) where my novel London’s falling shall be showcased. My work is self -published by Love of Books and i am seeking an opportunity to expand sales and media exposure. the article above was certainly encouraging.
Another interesting startup that I was able to watch was appgeneration with their product Kids Book Maker http://kidsbookmaker.com that enables publishers to create books in drag-n-drop solution, very intuitive for a designer like me, we need more products like this to disrupt adobe's and apple's monopoly solutions.
