Michel, when I saw TRVL, and I said, mann, that's some really great looking app for browsing the magazine. I mean, the content available itself is just mind blowing. Congratulations, the app insipes me aplenty. I just launched mine on the appstore via Baker's framework. I am eager to check prss out . I am an eager photographer who just made his magazine debut on App Store, and still pretty stoke about the possibility of expressing photography in a magazine. If you have time, you may check out my version here : http://www.jonlow.com/portfoliobyjonlow

thanks. let me know how we can participate in Prss :)

This is one of the things that has left me scratching my head since the iPad launched. Why is there no way to affordably produce a magazine? The current widely available production solutions are priced for enterprise only operators. I am amazed that Apple has not offered such a solution. Two people in a coffee shop can produce a nice app and make money, but why can that not be done with magazines? Whoever can come up with an affordable solution to produce independent publication could usher in a new tablet publishing revolution like with the original Mac and desktop publishing. Is this the solution? I guess we will see.

Unfortunately, the new platform is frustrating to use, and unintuitive. I had incredibly high hopes for it, but TRVL took a step backwards and as a digital publisher, I can not see a reason to use the platform. The price sounds like it will be right, but both I and my clients want a robust and intuitive experience, and PRSS does not appear to off that.
