Time may wish to be "leaner, more nimble and more innately multi-platform" but does not know how to do it. Every since it became a part of a conglomerate, it lost its bearings.
There was a time the magazine had an open mind to new ideas. I submitted an idea, which the then managing editor found to be "intriguing." He grabbed it, implemented it and saw the international circulation to soar to double.
Recently, I offered an idea that could transform the magazine.. They did not even respond, not to speak of being willing to give a hearing. How can a new idea get into a closed mind? Don't be surprised if Time is facing the beginning of the end.

Print? Nah, that's been the mainstream way since Gutenbergs days. I mean alternative news media sites are putting out of business the bigger players, and that's excellent news =)

Have a nice day.
