10-Q Watch: EA’s Acquisition of Rupture: $15M, Not $30M
Electronics Arts filed its quarterly 10-Q with SEC earlier today, and an interesting number on its Rupture/ThreeSF acquisition two months ago; the purchase price for the social gaming startup from Shawn Fanning was $15 million in cash, not $30 million as earlier reported. From the filing: “On May 28, 2008, we acquired all of the outstanding shares of ThreeSF, Inc. for an aggregate purchase price of $15 million in cash, including transaction costs.”
