ABC Swings Job Axe; Layoffs In ‘Low Double-Digits’

ABC has completed the restructuring it began earlier this year and has eliminated a number of executive posts, The Wrap reported, citing an unidentified source at the network. No specific numbers were disclosed, but the source told The Wrap that the job cuts were in the low double-digits. It seems that most of the staff reductions affected those with VP and lower level posts. The reorg involved combining the TV network and ABC Studios. As a result, network head Stephen McPherson (pictured) was handed oversight of the studio from Mark Pedowitz.
