Active Network Acquires High School Sports Site LaxPower.com

Community sports tech company The Active Network has acquired LaxPower.com, a Westchester, Pa.-Based site for high school and college lacrosse. LaxPower.com says it delivered results and stats for more than 4,700 high school teams and 1,000 collegiate teams last season. The site will become part of The Active Network but will remain branded as LaxPower.com. Active Network added Cool Running earlier this year; it raised $35 million in a sixth round in late 2006. Release.
