AdMeld, a provider of ad optimization technology, has raised $5 million of a planned $6 million first round according to peHUB, citing regulatory filings. Investors include Foundry Group and Spark Capital. Otherwise, not much is known about the stealthy, NYC-based company, except that President Ben Barokas and CTO Brian Adams both came from JumpTV (TSE: JTV), according to A:C, and it says it’s combining ad operations with “agile software development.”
