American City Business Journals, the operator of the Bizjournals network, is acquiring Inside Lacrosse Magazine and its online properties from Baltimore-based Carpenter Publishing. In addition to the magazine and its main InsideLacrosse.com site, the company will get LacrosseForums.com, a lacrosse community site, as well as other lacrosse-related products and services. Inside Lacrosse is a content partner with ESPN.com. Founder Robert Carpenter will continue to oversee the company. Once acquired, Inside Lacrosse will join ACBJ property The Sporting News, which was acquired from Paul Allen last year. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Release (via Wichita Business Journal)
