Marketing analytics purveyor Covario has acquired search engine optimization strategist Netconcepts. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. Netconcepts primarily works with retailers on ecommerce campaigns. Covario will move Madison, Wisconsin-based Netconcepts to its San Diego headquarters. The analytics company expects the addition of Netconcepts’ SEO services will help make it more attractive to advertisers, who are increasingly trying to find ways of mastering SEO. Forrester Research has forecast that marketers would spend approximately $2.5 billion on SEO in the U.S. alone in 2009; that spending is expected to double to $5 billion by 2014. Release
