imageAd spending cutbacks forced Crain Communications to pull the plug on trade publication RCR Wireless in March, but Arden Media is bringing it back from the brink. Arden Media CEO Jeff Mucci said the site will get a revamp in the coming months; he’s actively recruiting staff (including former RCR Wireless writers), in the meantime. Mucci said he believed that offering readers and advertisers the right blend of online and in-person “opportunities for interaction,” would be what kept the brand afloat. Arden Media owns four other tech-centric brands, including the Telecomcareers.net job board and the Tech&Jobs Expo; Mucci said it will incorporate an RCR Wireless event into its roster of upcoming conferences.
