Arkadium Hires Former MTV Exec Dan Hart As Chief Revenue Officer

Casual gamer Arkadium has hired former MTV gaming exec Dan Hart as chief revenue officer. Hart left his post as SVP/GM MTV Digital back in May. He had been with the Viacom (NYSE: VIA) company since 2004, when he was brought in as VP, online games, strategy and operations. Before that, he spent nearly four years at Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) managing the portal’s gaming products.
Hart’s hiring comes after Arkadium’s acquisition of the URL for Gamelab.com and the Advergame site. In addition to plotting Arkadium’s sales plans, Hart will also manage the New York-based company’s social gaming strategy. Release
