Arris Group Buying Broadband Network Solutions Provider C-COR For $730 million
Communications tech firm Arris Group is buying broadband/cable technology provider C-COR for about $730 million in cash and stock. The two companies collectively reported revenues of over $1.2 billionin the last twelve months, and the merged company will be the largest pure-play provider of equipment and solutions to the cable industry, the two said.
