Atlantic Media Readies Business News Site Under Michael Kinsley
About a month into his job at Atlantic Media, Slate founder Michael Kinsley has been charged with creating a business news site alongside the publisher’s other web properties, Daily Finance’s Jeff Bercovici reports. The site is being prepped for a January launch. Kinsley didn’t provide Bercovici with many other details about the as-yet-unnamed online pub.
The new venture is likely to be something of an off-shoot of the Atlantic Monthy’s online financial news section, The Atlantic’s Business, which was unveiled last spring and was initially built around the magazine’s columnist Megan McArdle.
