Audio and Video Content Firm iAmplify Gets $6 Million Funding

iAmplify, an audio and video content distribution firm based in NYC, has received $6 million in first round funding from Kodiak Ventures. The company has an online sales platform for celebrities, experts and media companies to publish audio and video content online, and of course has tons of competition (Waterfront Media is one). The company will use the capital to grow its sales force to expand digital media distribution, and to further enhance its offerings, it said. The company was founded in 2004 founded by Jack and Murray Hidary, founders of Earthweb. Details in release.
