Australia’s News Digital Buys Stake In Asian Travel Search Site Bezurk

News Digital Media, the digital arm of Australia’s News Limited (part of News Corp.) has acquired a minority stake in Asia-Pacific travel search engine, Bezurk.com. The site is based in Singapore, and is News Limited’s first investment outside the country. Also taking a minority stake in Bezurk: Singapore based firm OWW Capital Partners. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The travel search site focuses on Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, and aggregates info from about 80 partner travel websites. More details in release.
