Online Marketer Dealer.com Gets $5 Million

Dealer.com, which offers a suite of online marketing services tailored to auto dealerships, has raised $5 million in a round of funding, according to an SEC filing. Dealer.com, which has been around for 12 years, offers search engine marketing, analytics and website services. The company claims that more dealerships use its platform than any other. Unclear who the investors are although Dealer.com’s board includes Donald Hall, a general partner at Arcturus Capital, and John Osborne, the CEO of early stage venture fund Intermarkt. I put in a request for comment earlier this week—but did not hear back.
