Baby Boomer Social Net TeeBeeDee Receives $2.7 Million in Funding

TeeBeeDee, a social network targeted at baby boomers, has raised $2.7 million from unnamed investors, PE Hub reports. The site is accessible by invitation or registration only at this point. The company was started by Robin Wolaner, the founder and CEO of Parenting Magazine and former evp of CNET Networks. Wolaner is also the author of 2005’s “Naked in the Boardroom: A CEO Bares Her Secrets So You Can Transform Your Career.”
Updated: The PR for the company updates us that the fund was raised in summer last year.
