Barron’s Acquires Winner’s Circle Organization To Expand Conferences Business
Barron’s Magazine, published by Dow Jones (NYSE: NWS), is acquiring The Winner’s Circle Organization, a conference organizer dedicated to promoting best practices in the financial services business. Besides actual events, the company puts out lists like the “Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors”, which are already published frequently by the magazine. The lists and the conferences are designed to go together (a concept we’re familiar with). Winner’s Circle is currently based on Boca Raton, Fl., but will be absorbed by the Barron’s unit, relocating to New York. Release.
