Belgian Online Payments Business Clear2Pay Gets $75 Million VC Funding

Let the good times roll… in Belgium. Online payments business Clear2Pay has bagged a big €50 million ($75.4 million) round of funding led by New York-based PE outfit Aquiline Capital Partners. The Brussels-based company, which says it is profitable, will use the cash to fund a global expansion. It offers all manner of financial services such as electronic corporate, commercial and personal banking and funds transfers. The company has 450 staff across Europe, the US and Asia Pacific and its clients include BNP Paribas and the People’s Bank of China. Release.
