Former Yahoo Media Group CEO Lloyd Braun and his new partner Gail Berman have a wide-ranging TV development deal with NBC Universal, according to the NYT. NBC becomes the pair’s main backer; in exchange, the network will get first look at anything BermanBraun develop and will retain a financial interest in any project that goes to another studio. 
—The “ministudio” also plans internet and film divisions, likely with other strategic backers.
