Broadband Content Bits: HBO Shows; Eisner’s Show; FastCompany TV; AllPeer Closing; MeeVee Troubles

HBO’s In Treatment Online: HBO’s opening up, bit by bit: it has put up the first three weeks of “In Treatment” for streaming HBO.com, and the first four episodes are also on YouTube, the second time it has experimented with putting shows online, much behind others.

Eisner’s The All-For-Nots: Michael Eisner, riding high on the supposed success of “Prom Queen”, will next week launch a second online show through his company Vuguru…the new series is called “The All-For-Nots”, which documents the travails of a fictional indie rock band. The series will be online through sites lie YouTube, Bebo and others, mobile devices (through Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Wireless) and on TV (through the HDNet cable network). The show is sponsored by Chrysler and Expedia.

FastCompany’s TV Site Launches: FastCompany magazine has launched its video site FastCompany.tv...The new video network features coverage of technology trends, interviews with execs, reviews, and lifestyle programming. Disclaimer: FS is a partner of ours with EconSM conference.

File Sharing Service AllPeers Closing Down: AllPeers, a personal P2P file-sharing startup based in Oxford, UK, is closing down..the company was backed by Index Ventures and Mangrove Capital Partners, and raised less than $5 million. More on company blog here.

Meevee CEO Leaves: The trouble for the online video guide startup Meevee continues: it has made significant layoffs and parted ways with its CEO, reports NTV. The company, founded in 2000, has raised some $23.5 million in funding, from Bay Area Equity Fund, Defta Partners, FCPR Israel Discovery Fund, Labrador Ventures, Rothschild Ventures, and WaldenVC.
