Broadband TV Company Entone Raises $14.5 Million Second Round

IPTV provider Entone Technologies has raised a $14.5 million second round funding led by Coral Capital Management. Previous backers, Menlo Ventures and Scale Venture Partner, also participated in the round. The proceeds will go towards promoting general “business growth.” The San Mateo company has offices in Hong Kong and has been trying to build out its Hydra IP Video Gateway that can stream video in HD. MultichannelNews adds that the current funding gives Entone a total of $24 million raised to date. Release.
