Buddy Media Acquires Facebook Apps From ChipIn

NYC-based Buddy Media, an incubator of sorts for Facebook apps, has acquired apps from ChipIn. The deal’s size was unannounced, although Inc. suggests the apps may have sold for somewhere in the low-seven figures. With the deal, Buddy Media gets the ‘Versus’ family of apps, which includes such titles as Vampires vs. Werewolves. ChipIn, meanwhile, will focus on developing its widget authoring technology, per the announcement on its blog (via VentureBeat). The company has raised over $1 million in angel money, according to Alarm:Clock.
