Business Search Engine Zubican Launches With Wide Group Of Investors

Zubican, a recently launched business search site, has announced investors including Athenaeum Capital, Pasadena Angels, Tech Coast Angels, along with founders and executives of JAMDAT Mobile, mp3.com, NTI Group, Overture Services, Rent.com, Tickets.com and Vivendi (EPA: VIV) Universal Net USA. The LA-based startup bears similarity to Hoovers or its parent Dun & Bradstreet (NYSE: DNB), in that it’s a web-based database of businesses around the country. In addition to the search services, the site offers a commercial platform and a way for companies to rate potential business partners.
