Canada’s Rogers Acquires Fantasy Sports Site Poolexpert

Canadian media firm Rogers has acquired PoolExpert, a Toronto-based fantasy sports site. The site offers a paid hosting and management servicefor NHL, MLB and Formula 1 fantasy leagues. Founded in 1999, the site claims “hundreds-of-thousands” of registered users. In addition to its own service, it provides private label fantasy sports services to other Canadian media companies. Terms of the deal were not announced. Release.
