Career Site Doostang Gets $1.25 Million
Career site Doostang has raised $1.25 million in a funding round from Shasta Ventures, the company tells us. The site promises its users “inside access to thousands of jobs from top employers.” A basic version is free, although Doostang charges for a premium version, which includes unlimited access to job listings, as well as connections.

The site claims 600,000 users, up from 300,000 two years ago when it last raised funding. With the new cash, Doostang will have now raised more than $5.25 million since its start five years ago.
