CMS Seller Open Text Buying Captaris For $131 Million

Enterprise CMS vendor Open Text is buying document-scanning company Captaris for $131 million. Captaris of Bellevue, Wash., has a suite of software that converts printed documents to digital. Open Text is based in Canada. Open Text said the acquisition broadens its suite of products that integrate with SAP, Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) and Oracle. The acquisition is for $4.80 per share. Via AP.
