Condé Nast To Shutter Home Shelter Mag Domino; Website Closed As Well
Barely a week after it decided to consolidate all its digital assets in one unit, Condé Nast has decided to pull the plug on both the print and online version of home shelter mag Domino. The reasoning is simple: the economy and the dismal housing market, said CN CEO Charles Townsend. Over the past year, Domino’s ad pages fell 51 percent to 22 percent, Mediaweek reported. Still, it is curious that only two weeks ago, SVP Bill Wackermann was tapped to manage Domino as president and publishing director. The role was in addition to Wackermann’s duties as SVP & Publishing Director of Glamour and CN Bridal Media, which he still holds.
