Aggregate Knowledge has raised a $9 million third round to improve its advertising services. With this funding, the company has raised a total of $34.2 million in the past three years. The round was led by OVP Venture Partners, with previous backers Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, DAG Ventures, and original existing angels also participating. By making the investment, Lucinda Stewart, OVP’s managing director, cited the tremendous demand for companies that can provide deep audience analytics. The completion of San Mateo, CA-based Aggregate Knowledge’s third round comes the same week that one of the major audience analytics firms, Quantcast, secured a huge $27.5 million third round, which was led by Cisco (NSDQ: CSCO).
