What better way to kick off Stevefest than the release of the full video from D8? If you have the time for more than highlights and an interest in anything Apple (NSDQ: AAPL)—or you need a fix before WWDC—here’s more than 90 minutes of Apple Chairman and CEO Steve Jobs with Kara Swisher and Walt Mossberg on the stage of the Terranea resort in Southern California.

The difference between Jobs commanding the stage, the usual way we see him, and being part of a dialog is striking. He’s still in command (no offense to Walt and Kara), holding back when he wants, being disarmingly frank, charming the room. But unlike his stage performances, there is no script and he controls only what he says—not what he is asked. Full video embedded below.
