Debate Site Opposing Views Raises Another $1.25 Million

Opposing Views, a site for people to debate weighty issues, has raised a $1.25 million first round led by Frontera Group, Gil Elbaz, (co-founder, Applied Semantics), the company’s own CEO Russell Fine and other private investors. Earlier this year, the company raised $1.5 million, for a total of $2.75 million. The funding will go to the actual launch of the site, which is not yet live—it’s supposed to launch this month. Russell Fine previously founded Youbet.com, the publicly traded horse betting site. Release.
