Divorce360, an online guide for people going through a divorce, has raised a $2.5 million first round lead by Austin Ventures, according to TechCrunch. Other than the key focus, the site is similar to TheKnot.com, in that it offers a range of content—blogs, advice columns, videos, community forums, etc.—while making money on advertising and lead generation fees from divorce professionals. The North Palm (NSDQ: PALM) Beach, FL-based startup was founded by Cotter Cunningham, formerly the COO at BankRate, another site with a similar content plus lead-gen model. Release.
