WhyPark, a service for monetizing unused domains, has raised a $230,000 angel round from Alan Macomber, a customer of the service, according to Domain Name Wire. The company argues that does a superior job of putting content and ads on a site, such that users are actually inclined to go back to the site (that’s the claim, anyway). One advantage is that the content on the site is refreshed, not static. The Willoughby, OH-based company claims 41,000 domains. Release.
