Social Voice Messaging Startup Snapvine Raises $10 Million

Snapvine, which lets users leave and send voice messages on their social networking pages, has raised $10 million from Bridgescale Partners, according to SeattlePI.  This comes after an initial $2 million round last summer from a group including Draper Fisher Jurvetson and First Round Capital.  The Seattle-based company claims that its app has been installed on five million user profiles across the various social networking sites.  Messages can be also be delivered and accessed through a mobile phone. With the funding, the latest for a social networking add-on, the company plans to focus more on revenue opportunities, including advertising.
