With our first conference approaching in less than 45 days, we can fill you on some of the programs surrounding the main event: a mixer for EconSM participants, April 25, the night before, and then, to cap off the conference on April 26, a closing reception for everyone involved. We will send all participants details within a week…we have a great new location for the pre-EconSM mixer (not the Beverly Hilton, our conference venue), so watch out for that.
Just to reiterate, given the subject of social media, our view on conferences is especially appropriate: you’ll be part of the conversation, not an audience. EconSM isn’t about top-down presentations; it’s about sharing, challenging, learning and twisting the kaleidescope for different views of that morphing world.
And yes, we will have a participants-only social network ready to launch soon…working on developing this with some great minds in this field…again, stay tuned.
