WSJ: The reorganization represents the company’s attempt to right itself after being caught off guard by the success of Nintendo Wii. EA’s original structure was organized into a collection of global studios that reported to a single executive, Paul Lee, president of worldwide studios. Under the new structure, the heads of the four groups will all report directly to Riccitiello. Lee, who is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, will become a senior adviser to Riccitiello, and will be assigned to special projects, including strategic partnerships.
