Games Media, which has received an unspecified amount of funding from the William Morris Agency and Edison Ventures, will house a dozen video game and digital entertainment-related sites within Giant Realm. The ad network has a dozen launch advertisers, including Delta Airlines and DeVry University. Giant Realm’s target demo is mainly young men from 16- to 34.

In addition to multiplayer games in general, Giant Realm’s sites will focus on e-sports, machinima, anime movies, and indie music. The company claims that the sites on its network - including GameRiot, SpawnPoint, Myndflame, and ModDb - attracted 5 million unique visitors last month. Release
