Hearst Business Media And IDG Buy Chinese Tech Site EE365

Hearst Business Media, the B2B media arm of Hearst, has jointly bought out a Chinese electronics infomation site EE365.cn, along with its local publishing partner Publishing House of Electronic Industry (PHEI) and venture.media firm IDG China. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. EE365.cn, founded in 2006, provides news and information on 21 electronics industry segments, including embedded systems, power, test and measurement, and mobile.

HBM’s Electronics Group is one of largest publisher of product information to the electronics industry, and already owns 21IC.com, another big Chinese electronic engineering news site, and EE365 will now be managed along with it. More details in this release.
