Online video hotel guide Trivop has received $800K in angel funding, NTV reported. Participants in the round included Morten Lund, Steve and Jean-Emile Rosenblum, Oliver Jung, Lukasz Gadowski, Loic Le Meur, and Aydin Senkut. The Paris-based start-up is very narrowly focused - it doesn’t provide visual guides of tourist hotspots or cities; it just concentrates on hotels. So far, it appears to have only 164 hotels featured on the site, with the majority of the places in France. Over the next few weeks, Trivop plans to add user-generated content. It currently claims to have a global network of 900 videographers who have contributed to the site.
