IAC Adds Management To Black Community Deja-Site; Launch Coming

IAC (NSDQ: IACI), which announced its Black community-focused division last year in April, is close to launching its first site under the “Black Web Enterprises” banner. The company said last year that Jan 2008 was the site launch month, but seems to have been delayed at least a month now. The CEO heading the project is Johnnie C. Taylor, who has been IAC’s SVP-HR previously. Among the execs it has added include:

—Kevin McFall, VP of Products: He was previously at Zap2it.com and BlackVoices.com (Tribune Company).
—Katrina Witherspoon, VP, Marketing & Business Development: She was with Reach Media’s BlackAmericaWeb.com and IAC’s Match.com prior to this.

The business is a part of IAC Programming, established in 2006 under Michael Jackson to grow branded online content properties. More here.
