Original post: In other non MSFT-YHOO news but staying in the Seattle-Silicon Valley combine, RealNetworks’s music service Rhapsody is laying off 24 10 employees today from its Bay Area offices (that’s where Rhapsody is based), reports SF Weekly, citing sources. If true, that is not a surprise considering RNWK is in the process of merging its music service with MTV Networks’ (NYSE: VIA) Urge music service to form Rhapsody America.
