Industry Moves: People Mag Vet Matusik Takes Chief Content Gig With iVillage

imageNBCU’s iVillage plans to retool the content across its three sites, and has tapped former In Style founding editor Angela Matusik as its chief content executive. Matusik will report to relatively new GM Rebecca Miskin, overseeing the editorial development across iVillage.com, Astrology.com and iVillage.co.uk.

Matusik joins iVillage from Time Inc’s. People.com, where she served as development editor. She oversaw the site’s celebrity style channel, StyleWatch, the launch of PEOPLE Pets in December, and also led the Celebrity Baby Blog editorial team following its acquisition by People.com last year. Prior to People.com, Matusik held editorial leadership roles in both print and digital at at Hearst and Conde Nast; she founded indie home decor blog Shelterrific in 2006.
