AOL (NYSE: TWX), part of Time Warner, has created a new position to help integrate all the acquisitions it has done over the last year or so: Jon Werther has been appointed EVP, Integrated Operations, overseeing the integration, and will report to Ron Grant, COO of AOL.  Last year AOL acquired five companies, four of them—Tacoda, AdTech, Third Screen Media and Quigo—in the advertising space, which led to the creation of its Platform A advertising business.

Werther previously served as head of AOL’s biz dev group…this group will now operate from the general counsel’s office, which is under Ira Parker, EVP and General Counsel. More details in the release.
