AOL is bringing Nisha Kumar from Time Warner Inc. to succeed Steve Swad as CFO. At TW, Kumar most recently was VP-operations and before that VP-M&A, where she handled the sale of Warner Music. Swad announced earlier this month that he was leaving for the private equity arena. Release.
Update: As chairman and CEO Randy Falco points out in the internal announcement, Kumar is returning to AOL, where she worked in 2001 as part of the AOL Business Affairs and Development team. She also worked from the TW end on AOL’s new web-based strategy. Falco emphasized her mix of operations, M&A and strategy experience.
